The rising sun (self portrait)

In latin the name fabio derives from faba , broad bean; the connection between the name and the beans gives rise to a diverse self-portrait.

As the rays of light pass through the golden leaves at dawn, so the broad beans welcome the light and delicately brighten up one after the other in the sunlight. in the iconography, gold represents the resurrection while broad beans are one of the poorest fruits on earth. the use of contrasting elements serves to describe multiple faces and personalities of the same inconsistent person.
